Anna is a former member of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain, where she won the Katie Ogden solo award and the Chappell Shield for service to the band.  Whilst studying Engineering at Cambridge University, she played for the Cambridge University First Orchestra under Stephen Cleobury, conductor of the renowned Choir of King's College Cambridge.  Anna has played assistant principal cornet with the Rothwell Temperance Band, repiano cornet with the Hepworth and Fishburn bands, and currently plays cornet with the Reg Vardy band (31 times North of England champions).  She was recently a soloist with the Young Ambassadors Brass Band, touring the USA and Canada.  She also regularly plays the trumpet in orchestras and for weddings.  Anna works as an electrical engineer.
